Can anyone help with letting me know or supplying me with the current rules you have regarding reinforced cockpits or where I need to go online to find them? Thanks

Depends on which Catagory of racing you are talking about? For starters, here is a link to APBA's resource page where you can download the current rules per Catagory of racing..(Inboard, Outboard, OPC etc...) There are also lists of contacts (inspectors) and capsule certification forms available on this same link.....http://www.apba-racing.com/downloads.html

Thank you so much, having trouble downloading the forms, but will keep trying. It's the same class as Duff Daly (?) and was also wondering if it is mandatory for that class (inboard or BAD - Blown Alcohol Displacement) to have reinforced cockpits? Thanks

APBA 2009 Inboard Rules for K-Boat flatbottom class (Duff runs this class here in US) will be found here...http://www.apba-racing.com/Forms/2009/009INBOARD.pdf
APBA Inboard Indurance Rules for V-bottom hulls (similar to what is raced in BAD class in NZ, Duff did run his flatbottom in this class in NZ) here.....http://www.apba-racing.com/Forms/2009/009IE.pdf

The guys that are building my new F2 boat may be able to help with some capsule questions you may have. Go to Revolutionboats.net to contact them. Jason Neri or RJ West are the guys to talk to there.

Thank you so much Rayzor. Will look at the website. As stated in my other email to John, we are for them but only if all the other safety rules are put in place like mandatory air, flotation and the hatches being large enough to get someone out. Some guys are gymnists the way the get in or out over here and my concern is that if they get knocked out, how does a diver get them out... I just wish they were as thorough as your guys who write up the rules...
