Hi Pete,
Thanks for your comments. My dad loved boat racing.It was his release on the weekends to be just "doc", as everyone in racing called him. He would have wanted me to continue racing. And I did.
My dad was a eye specialist MD that was involved with the development of Cataract Surgery. His funeral was attended by more people that the funeral home could seat. And lots of them
were people the he had saved their vision because of his surgery skills in a new era of eye surgery. I am very proud of my father. He treated people that couldn't afford the surgery also, to go along with his many patients.
